Sorry that I havent done a very good job keeping you all updated on this weeks project. Everything has run very smoothly here in Lubbock. We have been truly blessed by the people here and the amount of the city sponsors this project. Can I just tell you that the crews have done an amazing job sharing the love of Christ with the community. According to lastnight's numbers, there have been 230 presentations of the gospel, 7 recommitments and 28 salvations. Now if that isnt something to praise the Lord about, I dont know what is.
We have a crew cheif here this week named, Jimmy Red. He is from Mississippi and has a true compassion for those that dont know the truth of Christ. His crew alone led 11 people to Christ on Monday. He spoke with me a little on Sunday and he was a huge encouragement to me. He told me stories about how God has really emphasized the importance of not missing a opportunity to share Christ. He told me that tele-marketers are one of his most favorite groups of people. He never even lets them get started because he jumps right in sharing the gospel. It was so cool to hear him talk about that. In many cases, I know that we dispise getting those phone calls, but he doesnt. I was convicted by the spirit because I know in many circumstances, I miss opportunities because I dont have confidence that the Spirit can speak through me to others. ...just thought yall would like this and perhaps it convicts your hearts too.
Some of you may know this already, but others may not....I got sick yesterday and it was horrible. There is some sort of bug floating around the school and I caught it yesterday. Luckily I was able to sleep it away for the most part yesterday. Many of you would now know this but the beginning and end of the project is when my work load is heavy and I was very scared that it would not work out very well. But God healed my body quickly and I am much better today.
Well, that is an update on my life this past week. The crews have done a great job working this week and have been very successful. God is so good!!
Prayer request: pray for Daniel as he travels this weekend to see me for a couple of days in San Antonio. Also, pray for our youth as they head for Virginia today. Pray that the Lord will work in a mighty way this next week.
Love you all! See yas real soon!

Ive arrived in Lubbock, TX
Well, Im here..back in the great state of Texas. Yesterday we were in Fort Worth and were reunited with our first PC, Shawn Edwards. I cannot tell you how good is was to see him and his family and reunite. I was reminded yet again, why I am doing what I am doing. I was reminded of that passion I had at the beginning of the summer before I had trouble in Cinci. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and concerns. The team and I appreciate them.
Yesterday we went with Shawn to the JFK museum and to a very famous mexican restuarnt. It was delicious!! And the museum was very interesting too. And we revisited the grassy knoll once again for old times sake.
But now we are in Lubbock in a hotel and we head off to our lodging, a school, to get to work tomorrow. The coordinators here in Lubbock are having a cook-out for us tomorrow evening...so we look forward to that. Home-cooked meals...yummy!! (Im expecting some from all of you when I come home) haha!!
I have to end this, but before I do....I want you to know...on our drive today, I drove for 3 and a half hours straight and you wanna know what I saw. I saw a very straight and flat road for miles and thousands of windmills. What an entertaining car ride, huh? Yeah, that is was I thought too.
Love you all...take care. (And by the way, give Daniel a hug for me whenever you see him.)

We leave tomorrow
Well, tonight is the last full day in Cincinnati. I must say, I am glad to be headed back to TExas. The only thing is, Im not really looking forward to the long drive back. But Im sure we will have lots of good times on the road.
By the way, tanks to the WIN group for their very sweet card. I just got it today and it meade my heart very happy. :) So far, we have have had 6 salvations this week and many seeds planted. There are still come crews out working as I write this so I dont know the final numbers. The offering this week was 1193 dollars. Not as good as Dallas but still good.
Oh, I wanted to tell you all....we do have a blog for the team. It is more of an update for the participants parents to follow up with the project but we post pictures and thing son there. If you go to world-changers.net and then find the project, you will see the blog. So feel free to look on there. The next project that I have will be in a week in Lubbock TX. We are all very excited to get there and get a fresh start.
I dont want you all to think taht we didnt enjoy Cincinnati, but the Lord definitley tested our team. We concored the devil this week and you have no idea how hapopy that makes my heart.
Well pray for us as we travel this week and for the churches that will be traveling back home tomorrow. I will keep you updated with the great days we have ahead of us this next week.
Love you all and miss yas!

Quick update
We are chuggin along. The past two days have been crazy busy for all of us. Normally once a project get started and the participants are off to work, it is not that busy. But for some odd reason, yesterday was one of my busiest days ever. But I made it through. Now I am just extremely tired. Hopefully I will have time for a nap today.
The situation with our project coordinator has gotten a little better. This is partly to do with the fact that all fo the really difficult things are done and now we only have to be sure that the work is getting done. Thank you for your prayers. The whole team appreviates them.
As for the students this week. Tehy are great. Many of them have never been to world changers before and so it is cool to hear about the simple things taht they enjoy.
We did have a girl get hit in the face with the claw of a hammer. And this was 30 minutes after they got to the worksite. So if you couldnt guess this already that is part of the reason why I was so busy yesterday.
Please pray for me cause I have been struggling the past couple days with leadership and others being submissive. I honestly believe that part of the reason for this is the fact that we are all so stressed. If you would like further details about that, please ask Daniela nd then pray for me.
Love yas!
